American Communism by Any Other Name Still Means Destruction of America

Elizabeth Warren's 11 Commandments of Progressivism [1]

473px-Elizabeth_Warren--Official_113th_Congressional_Portrait--

"Watching Elizabeth Warren give a speech to her fold, you realize she's one of the rare Democrats who can excite her base in the same way Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders can excite their own." As Politico's Katie Glueck wrote on Friday, July 17th, 2014, liberals' minds may be with Hillary Clinton, but their hearts lie with Warren.

Speaking on Friday at Netroots Nation, a convention for liberal bloggers and activists, Warren got the crowd more fired up than Vice President Joe Biden was able to do the day before. (To be fair, the crowd was in a solemn mood at the time in reaction to the news of the Malaysian passenger plane crash). In her speech, Warren outlined more clearly than other Democrats the social issues that galvanize progressives. Her performance was reminiscent of a certain other young senator in 2008.

"What are our values?" Warren asked the audience, some of whom held up "Run Liz Run" signs. "What does it mean to be a progressive?" [Glenn Beck would say "Progressives are Communists with patience."  BUT history shows and tells us that Progressives are Revisionist Socialists. Some would say its semantics BOTH means the destruction way of the American way of life and Freedom. I feel based of on research of the writings Karl Marx as well as that of Socialists and Communists from early ca. 1880's - 1890's; Progressivism is a a hybrid of both or as I have come to believe and called American Communism]

She went on to outline 11 tenets of progressivism:

- "We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement, and we're willing to fight for it." [Does she REALLY mean, "Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank, [we are ready have one] with State capital and an exclusive monopoly" (Karl Marx, The Manifesto of the Communist Party, 1848, page 26) or is she implying that "The government shall also loan money to States and municipalities without interest for the purpose of carrying on public works." (Morris Hillquit, History of Socialism in America, 1910 Pages 369-377)?...OM]

- "We believe in science, and that means that we have a responsibility to protect this Earth." [Does she REALLY mean, "...the bringing into cultivation of wasteland, and improvement of soil generally in accordance with a common plan." (ibid) or maybe she means "The extension of the public lands to include mines, quarries, oil wells, forests and water power." (ibid page 376) or perhaps, "The scientific reforestation of timber lands, and the reclamation of swap lands. The land so reforested or reclaimed to be permanently retained as a part of the pubic domain."(ibid)...OM]

- "We believe that the Internet shouldn't be rigged to benefit big corporations, and that means real net neutrality." [Could she mean, "Centralization of the means COMMUNICATION and transport in the hands of the State (ibid Page 26) or maybe she meant, "The collective ownership of railroads, TELEGRAPHS, TELEPHONES, steam lines and all other means of SOCIAL transportation and COMMUNICATION (ie. Internet...OM)" (ibid Page 376)...OM]

- "We believe that no one should work full-time and still live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage."[Or in other words, "The capitalist class, in its mad race for profits, is bound to exploit the workers to the very limit of their endurance and to sacrifice their physical, moral and mental welfare to its own insatiable greed. Capitalism keeps the masses of workingmen in poverty, destitution, physical exhaustion and ignorance." (ibid page 370)...OM]

- "We believe that fast-food workers deserve a livable wage, and that means that when they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them." [Is this the same as "The Organization of the working class into a political party  to conquer the public powers now controlled by capitalist"? Or maybe she is hinting that "The struggle between wage workers and capitalists grows ever fiercer, and has now become the only vital issue before the American people. The wageworking class, therefore, has the most direct interest in abolishing the capitalist system."(ibid Page 371)...OM]

- "We believe that students are entitled to get an education without being crushed by debt." [Maybe she should have just said, "Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production,..."(ibid Page 26) ...OM]

- "We believe that after a lifetime of work, people are entitled to retire with dignity, and that means protecting Social Security, Medicare, and pensions." [Maybe she should have first reminded everyone that, "In early 1968 President Lyndon Johnson (Democrat) made a change in the budget presentation by including Social Security and all other trust funds in a"unified budget." This is likewise sometimes described by saying that Social Security was placed "on-budget."" Thus taking the Social Security TRUST fund and putting it in the General budget so that it could be "borrowed from". Or that the "National insurance of the working people against accidents, lack of employment, and want in old age", (ibid Page 376) or maybe she wants, "The protection of home life against the hazards of sickness, irregular employment and old age through the adoption of a system of social insurance adapted for American use." Didn't FDR take these socialist/progressive ideas and put them into law ca.1935?...OM]

- "We believe—I can't believe I have to say this in 2014—we believe in equal pay for equal work." [Maybe she should tell her fearless leader, President Obama after all "Women paid significantly less in Obama White House than their male counterparts" Can we say "woman speak with forked tongue" or is it just hypocrisy?...OM]

- "We believe that equal means equal, and that's true in marriage, it's true in the workplace, it's true in all of America." [Change traditions, you change the culture, change the culture you change the nation....OM]

- "We believe that immigration has made this country strong and vibrant, and that means reform." [So do the majority of the American people, except we believe that it should be done legally, not by flooding the borders an attempting to "tug on the heart strings" because they are children, thus using Cloward & Piven [3] to flood the system....OM]

- "And we believe that corporations are not people, that women have a right to their bodies. We will overturn Hobby Lobby and we will fight for it. We will fight for it!" [Warren better re-read the 14th Amendment and the definition of citizen, "a person who legally belongs to a country and has the rights and protection of that country or a person who lives in a particular place." Thus, "While a corporation is a "person" within this Amendment, it is not a "citizen" of the United States whose "privileges or immunities" a State is forbidden to abridge. A State may therefore impose upon a corporation created by another State restrictive conditions respecting its doing business (but not interstate commerce) within the first named State. (Corporation is citizen of State creating it. Bank of United States v. Deveaux (1809), 5 Cranch. 61, ref Amend.,Art.14,Sect.1,Cl.2 but is not citizen of United States, therefore liberty may be abridged by State. Western Turf Assoc.v. Greenberg (1907), 204 U. S. 359, ref Amend.,Art.14,Sect.1,Cl.2)[4] and of course there is always Citizens United.]

And the main tenet of conservatives' philosophy, according to Warren? "I got mine. The rest of you are on your own." [Actually we work for what we earn and the government has no right to redistribute our or anyone else's wealth...OM]

There Are Lies, Damn Lies and Then There Are Democrats

Charlie Rangel continues with the rest of the Socialists Democrats including Adolf Hitler in believing that "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed ", during a Thursday campaign rally for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).

Rangel has joined the rest of the of the Democrats in their main campaign strategy of race baiting and FEAR by comparing some members of the GOP to confederates from the Civil War era [Whose leaders were mainly Democrats...OM]. But at the Thursday (October 30) evening event, he added that they "believe that slavery isn't over."

Not surprisingly I disagree with him. It has been the
Democrats/ Progressives / Socialists or whatever you choose to call them that continue to believe in slavery.

Not the physical slavery of whips and chains, but chains of the mind and the whips of dependence on the government if they really think and choose to vote against Democrats.

Consider what President Lyndon B. Johnson said to two governors on board Air Force One after he launched the "Great Society" in 1964-1965,

“I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” [I will not apologize for the use of an offensive word, it is a DIRECT quote...OM]

or when LBJ said,

"These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference."

Thus LBJ successfully returned African Americans to mental chains of the plantation.

And now Obama is planning to add millions of new slaves to the Democrat controlled plantation.

This new plantation is complete with the overseers, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who make millions of dollars and live rather well while those they oversee continue to in poverty within the inner city.

These overseers or their friends have ensured that IF one or more of their "charges" attempt to or even break the chains of poverty that they are "whipped" with everyone watching by a constant bombardment of degrading statements and insults.

"In the days of slavery, there were those slaves who lived on the plantation and there were those slaves that lived in the house. You got the privilege of living in the house if you served the master ... exactly the way the master intended to have you serve him." [Harry Belafonte about Colin Powell. YET Colin Powell chose to support race over freedom when he supported Obama in 2008. Strange Powell is very silent now...OM]

Rangel continued,

"We have to win. We have to be able to send a national message with Andrew Cuomo. And the thing is: Everything we believe in — everything we believe in — they hate. They don't disagree — they hate! They think if you didn't come from Europe 30 years ago, you didn't even make it. Some of them believe that slavery isn't over and they and think they won the Civil War!"

Sorry Charlie, but it was Abraham Lincoln, a REPUBLICAN, who guided America through the Civil War after the DEMOCRATIC Governors of the Southern States decided to succeed from the union over slavery.

It would be Lincoln who would issue Emancipation Proclamation, declaring all slaves in rebel territory free in 1862.

Finally, on the subject of slavery, was it not the Democrats who worked hand-in-glove with the Ku Klux Klan for generations? Wasn't it the Democrats who actually started the KKK and endorsed its mayhem?

As Rangel continued about the upcoming midterm elections,

"And so what we have to do is send a collective voice. Everything we're doing is God's work [God's work? or Karl Marx's work?...OM]: education [W
hy do Democrats constantly vote against Charter Schools?], healthcare, affordable housing, [protecting against] discrimination, paying people the minimum wage."

"Caesar, too, helped the people, but they lost their liberty to him."

Democrats - Say One Thing to Get Elected, Do Another - HYPOCRITES

First socialist democrat candidate for U.S. Senator from Kentucky Alison Lundergan Grimes' campaign staff admits that Grimes is lying about her support for the coal industry here in KY.

Then one of her donors admits that after Grimes is elected she'll **** the coal industry.

Then she's too embarrassed to admit she voted for Obama in 2012.

Now we find out that her family's business not only just pays minimum wage but have items that degrade women.

Monday on CNN's "The Lead With Jake Tapper," the democrat candidate for U.S. Senator from Kentucky Alison Lundergan Grimes, who has been pushing for raising the minimum wage by saying, "I'm fighting for all Kentuckians, all working Americans across this nation. I don't believe $7.25 an hour raises a family of four above the poverty level," was taken to task for her families restaurant paying their employees only a minimum wage.

CNN's Chris Frates reported, "You might be surprised that Grimes' family business pays some tipped employees only minimum wage. Here in Kentucky, servers at, "Huge Jass Burgers," are making just $2.13 an hour. That's the minimum wage for tipped employees and it hasn't budged since the '90s. The minimum wage for workers who aren't making tips is $7.25 an hour, a figure that last increased five years ago."

According to CNN’s report, waiters at the “Hugh Jass Burgers” restaurant in Kentucky, Grimes’ family restaurant, make just $2.13, the minimum wage allowed to tipped employees since the 90’s.

“My family is not in this race, I’m on the ballot,” Grimes said in response to questions about her family’s compensation practices.

However, CNN found that Grimes is actually somewhat, if not directly, involved in the family’s restaurant, having done legal work for the business, like signing the lease agreement and representing the restaurant in a lawsuit.

The CNN report also notes that Grimes has attacked Republicans for sexism on the campaign trail, while her family’s restaurant menu uses double entendres that could be construed as demeaning to women.

On the menu at the restaurant are food items like “Charlotte’s Rack,” with the sub-header, “Sure to be voted ‘Biggest Rack,’” and “Abby’s Hugh Jass,” named after Grimes’ sister. The restaurant also sells a novelty cooking apron with the phrase, “Check out my buns,” printed across the front.

Grimes did not respond to a request for comment from CNN’s investigative team regarding the use of double entendres at the restaurant.

Since Ebola, the Elections and the VA Scandal have overtaken the news cycle. WHAT the VA Scandal has "disappeared"? Oh, forgot, the Critters through more money at it and replaced the "captain" of the Titanic so all is fixed. NOT!

With all of this, I feel like Marine Colonel Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller at the Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War in 1950:

"We’ve been looking for the enemy for several days now. We’ve finally found them. We are surrounded. That simplifies the problem of getting to these people and killing them.”

I am not looking for the enemy, I have found them and they are the American sheeple. Instead of physically killing them, I would prefer to kill their lack on focus with information and here's where I'll need you, the readers help, but more on that in a minute.

Some may be wondering how does Ebola, the upcoming elections and the VA Scandal intertwine.

EBOLA

Boo Boo is sending 3900+ troops including the National Guard to the Ebola "Hot Zone", in fact a hundred Marines have been there since the 10th of October.

Now, looking at the chaos & panic that just 3 Ebola victims in the U.S. has caused within the healthcare system, can you just imagine what will happen if just, GOD FORBID, 2 or 3 of the original 100 Marines get exposed or worst yet one percent of the 3900 troops (39 for the sheeple) get exposed. How are those brave troops going to be treated? What about the troop's families? Are the base hospitals READY for this possibility? IS the VA system? Is our healthcare system?

The Election

There is nothing we, The PEOPLE, can do about the Clown in Chief and his complete incompetence concerning national security, ISIS or Ebola, BUT we, the PEOPLE can elect / reelect Senators / Representatives that will do something like securing our borders or stopping air travel from the "Hot Zone".

After all, it seems that Socialists  Democrats seem to back Boo Boo's Politically correct misjudgment at putting in to place a travel ban from the Ebola "Hot Zones".

What can we, the PEOPLE, do? Get out and vote, as the the old saying goes "kick the bums out".

The VA Scandal

As I pointed out, our troops are in the "Hot Zone" and some may return in fairly good shape and decide to leave the military.

Ebola may be laying dormant, no one really knows, so say in six months, a young Marine vet wakes up, he feels like chit and decides to go to the VA, since he can't afford healthcare under Obamacare or he's unemployed because of the Socialists Democrats backing Obama's non economical policy.

Our young Marine gets to the VA and there he sits, feeling worst as every minute passes.

Finally he is told that he has to make an appointment for two weeks later. That two weeks stretches into a month and unfortunately, our young Marine passes, cause of death, a new strain of EBOLA.

Now, here is where I need reinforcements and it won't cost a cent.

Since Montel Williams, Glenn Beck, O'Reilly and other talking heads have dropped the ball on the VA Scandal, it is up to we, the PEOPLE, to pick up the ball and run with it.

How? Lets start simple by keeping eye out for articles, news reports on the VA hospitals in your area. IF there is any information, good or bad, get it out there.

IF you need a place to post it, let me know. I'll be more then happy to post it here, full credit will be given. Just post links information in the comments section.

IF the talking heads, politicians won't follow up, We will.

"Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory." General George S. Patton

Hey Liberals, The Military IS NOT Meant to be Used as a Social Experiment

It never fails that every time the brain dead elect Socialists, I mean Liberals to the highest offices in the land, eventually they will want to use the finest military in the world as a laboratory for some grand social experiment.

Whether it be "Don't ask, Don't Tell" enacted under Slick Willy Clinton and later changed by Obama to allow gays to openly serve in the military. Or the steady push to allow women to serve in combat.

I am not going to speak to the other services, but for the Marines, we have a higher standards and though many Woman Marines try, few will pass but I'm not here to debate that subject but the current proposal dealing with women serving in the UNIFORM military services I feel many may find offensive. NOT ONLY because it is discriminatory (the hair styles are mainly for the Afro-American women) but in the case of a hand to hand combat situation can lead to putting those very women in danger. It gives the enemy something to grab and in turn control the woman.

Now some may say, "These women will in rear echelon." Does anyone remember the Jessica Lynch fiasco? She was rear echelon. In the Marine Corps, there is NO REAR Echelon. EVERY MARINE IS A RIFLEMAN.

From the Stars and Stripes via way of Military.com comes this:

WASHINGTON — Under pressure from lawmakers, the Army, Navy and Air Force changed their uniform policies Monday to allow female servicemembers to sport previously banned hairstyles.

The changes came after a DOD-wide hairstyle policy review directed by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel earlier this year. Some servicemembers and members of the Congressional Black Caucus claimed that Army regulations governing troops' hairstyles contained offensive language and unfairly targeted African-American women. (What other women wear these hairstyles...OM)

Female soldiers can now wear two-strand twists; larger braids, cornrows and twists; and ponytails during physical training.

Female sailors can wear two-strand twists and multiple braids that hang freely above the collar and cover the entire head.

Female airmen can now wear two-strand twists, French twists and Dutch braids.

Dreadlocks are still prohibited by the services.

The Marine Corps has not yet completed its review, but preliminary recommendations call for the service to authorize twists for medium and long hair. (Since when does the Corps allow a woman's hair below the collar)

The Marine Corps is asking active duty Marines and reserves to take an online survey about hairstyle policies by Friday at www.manpower.usmc.mil/application. (In all due respect to the Commandant of the Marine Corps, since when has the Corps become a democratic organization, just do what you feel is best for the Corps, our honor and traditions...OM)

After conducting their reviews, the Army and Air Force determined that the terms "matted" and "unkempt" are offensive (Did we hurt the soldier's and air person's poor little feelings? Worst things will be said to you in a combat situation or if you become a POW...OM), and they removed them from regulations. The Navy and Marine Corps concluded their regulations contain no offensive or discriminatory language. (OUT****INGSTANDING!...OM)

Hagel outlined the changes in an Aug. 11 letter to Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, the chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus.

The reviews were conducted "to ensure standards are fair and respectful while also meeting our military requirements," Hagel wrote. "These reviews were informed by a panel of military personnel of mixed demographics reflective of our diverse workforce."

Fudge expressed satisfaction with the changes in a news release issued Tuesday,

"These changes recognize that traditional hairstyles worn by women of color are often necessary to meet our unique needs, and acknowledges that these hairstyles do not result in or reflect less professionalism or commitment to the high standards required to serve within our Armed Forces," she said. (The hairstyle may effect the safety of the woman and those in her unit. Maybe eventually those who have to go in and rescue her if she becomes a POW...OM)

What do you think, please let me know.

Judicial Watch: New Documents Show IRS HQ Control of Tea Party Targeting

Documents also Reveal Unusual Pressure from Key Democrat Senator to Target Conservatives

Judicial Watch today released a new batch of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents revealing that its handling of Tea Party applications was directed out of the agency’s headquarters in Washington, DC.  The documents also show extensive pressure on the IRS by Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) to shut down conservative-leaning tax-exempt organizations. The IRS’ emails by Lois Lerner detail her misleading explanations to investigators about the targeting of Tea Party organizations.

The documents came in response to an October 2013 Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the agency refused to respond to four FOIA requests dating back to May 2013 (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Internal Revenue Service (No. 1:13-cv-01559)).

One key email string from July 2012 confirms that IRS Tea Party scrutiny was directed from Washington, DC. On July 6, 2010, Holly Paz (the former Director of the IRS Rulings and Agreements Division and current Manager of Exempt Organizations Guidance) asks IRS lawyer Steven Grodnitzky “to let Cindy and Sharon know how we have been handling Tea Party applications in the last few months.”  Cindy Thomas is the former director of the IRS Exempt Organizations office in Cincinnati and Sharon Camarillo was a Senior Manager in their Los Angeles office. Grodnitzky, a top lawyer in the Exempt Organization Technical unit (EOT) in Washington, DC, responds:

EOT is working the Tea party applications in coordination with Cincy. We are developing a few applications here in DC and providing copies of our development letters with the agent to use as examples in the development of their cases. Chip Hull [another lawyer in IRS headquarters] is working these cases in EOT and working with the agent in Cincy, so any communication should include him as well. Because the Tea party applications are the subject of an SCR [Sensitive Case Report], we cannot resolve any of the cases without coordinating with Rob.

The reference to Rob is believed to be Rob Choi, then-Director of Rulings and Agreements in IRS’s Washington, DC, headquarters.

Another email string from February – March 2010 includes a message from a California EO Determinations manager discussing a Tea Party application “currently being held in the Screening group.” The manager urges, “Please let ‘Washington’ know about this potentially embarrassing political case involving a ‘Tea Party’ organization. Recent media attention to this type of organization indicates to me that this is a ‘high profile’ case.”  A co-worker responds: “I think sending it up here [DC] is a good idea given the potential for media interest.”  As with Ben Rhodes’ Benghazi-related talking points email, Judicial Watch obtained a more complete version of this IRS email chain than was provided to a congressional committee.

The Judicial Watch documents also contain email correspondence to internal IRS investigators from Lerner, dated April 2, 2013, that tries to explain the “Be on the Lookout” (BOLO) criteria used to select organizations for screening and scrutiny:

Because the BOLO only contained a brief reference to “Organizations involved with the Tea Party movement applying for exemption under 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4)” in June 2011, the EO Determinations manager asked the manager of the screening group, John Shafer [IRS Cincinnati field office manager], what criteria were being used to label cases as “tea party ” cases. (“Do the applications specify/state ‘ tea party’? If not, how do we know applicant is involved with the tea party movement?”) The screening group manager asked his employees how they were applying the BOLO’s short –hand reference to “tea party.” His employees responded that they were including organizations meeting any of the following criteria as falling within the BOLO’s reference to “tea party” organizations: “1. ‘Tea Party’, ‘Patriots’ or ’9/12 Project’ is referenced in the case file. 2. Issues include government spending, government debt and taxes. 3. Educate the public through advocacy/legislative activities to make America a better place to live. 4. Statements in the case file that are critical of the how the country is being run. . . “
So, we believe we have provided information that shows that no one in EO “developed” the criteria. Rather, staff used their own interpretations of the brief reference to “organizations involved with the Tea Party movement,” which was what was on the BOLO list.

Lerner omits that her office was “developing” the applications for all Tea Party groups.

The IRS documents also include a presentation entitled “Heightened Awareness Issues” with a red and orange “Alert” symbol identifying the “emerging issues” that trigger scrutiny for organizations seeking tax-exempt status. Page six of the presentation focuses on the Tea Party organizations due, in part, to the fact that these groups had become a “Relevant Subject in Today’s Media.”
A series of letters between Senator Levin (D-MI), chairman of the Subcommittee on Investigations, and top IRS officials throughout 2012 discuss how to target conservative groups the senator claimed were “engaged in political activities.” In response to a Levin March 30 letter citing the “urgency of the issue,” then-Deputy Commissioner Steven Miller assured the senator that IRS regulations were flexible enough to allow IRS agents to “prepare individualized questions and requests” for select 501(c)(4) organizations.

The newly released IRS documents contain several letters and emails revealing an intense effort by Levin and IRS officials to determine what, if any, existing IRS policies could be used to revoke the nonprofit exemptions of active conservative groups and deny exemptions to new applicants. In a July 30, 2012, letter, Levin singles out 12 groups he wants investigated for “political activity.” Of the groups – which include the Club for Growth, Americans for Tax Reform, the 60 Plus Association, and the Susan B. Anthony List – only one, Priorities USA, is notably left-leaning.
As the 2012 presidential election drew nearer, Levin sent a series of letters to the IRS intensifying his campaign against predominantly conservative nonprofit groups:
  • September 27, 2012: Levin asks for copies of the answers to IRS exemption application question 15 – a question about planned political expenditures – from four specific groups: Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies, Priorities USA, Americans for Prosperity, and Patriot Majority USA.
  • October 17, 2012: Miller informs Levin, “As discussed in our previous responses dated June 4, 2012, and August 24, 2012, the IRS cannot legally disclose whether the organizations on your list have applied for tax exemptions unless and until such application is approved.” Miller, however, then informs Levin that Americans for Prosperity and Patriot Majority have been approved, but the IRS has no records for Crossroads and Priorities USA.
  • October 23, 2012: Levin writes to again express his dissatisfaction with the IRS handling of “social welfare” (501(c)(4) organizations insisting that IRS guidance “misinterprets the law” by allowing any political activity. He again demands an answer as to whether the four organizations he listed in his previous letter were primarily engaged in the promotion of social welfare.  He also seeks copies of tax exempt revocation letters sent due to c4 political activities, as well as statistics on how many c4s have been notified that they may be in violation due to political activities.
In perhaps the most revealing letter from the IRS to Levin, Miller on June 4, 2012, takes 16 pages to explain to the senator what IRS regulations and policies may and may not be used to evaluate political groups and assures him that the agency has considerable leeway in picking and choosing which groups would be subject to additional scrutiny:

There is no standard questionnaire used to obtain information about political activities. Although there is a template development letter that describes the general information on the case development process, the letter does not specify the information to be requested from any particular organization … Consequently, revenue agents prepare individualized questions and requests for documents relevant to the application. . .

A May 14, 2013, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) report revealed that the IRS had singled out groups with conservative-sounding terms such as “patriot” and “Tea Party” in their titles when applying for tax-exempt status. The TIGTA probe determined that “Early in Calendar Year 2010, the IRS began using inappropriate criteria to identify organizations applying for tax-exempt status (e.g., lists of past and future donors).”  The illegal IRS reviews continued for more than 18 months and “delayed processing of targeted groups applications” preparing for the 2012 presidential election.

“These new documents show that officials in the IRS headquarters were responsible for the illegal delays of Tea Party applications,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.  “It is disturbing to see Lois Lerner mislead the IRS’ internal investigators about her office’s Tea Party targeting.  These documents also confirm the unprecedented pressure from congressional Democrats to go after President Obama’s political opponents.  The IRS scandal has now ensnared Congress.”

In mid-April, Judicial Watch released a batch of IRS documents (produced earlier in this litigation) revealing that Lerner had communicated with the Department of Justice about whether it was possible to criminally prosecute certain tax-exempt entities.
