Is the Regime Using Capitalism for Gun Control

As a number of "talking heads", politicians and everyday folks talk about the militarization of local police departments. The subject of the various departments of the Federal Government making massive buys of ammunition and to state the obvious, all Patriots know that there is and will be a massive push by the current regime and the Left (the single word for me to refer to the enemies of Freedom) for gun control.

As “Dead fish Ballet Dancer” has repeatedly said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” So following his advice how soon will BH0 and the Left once begin began a massive push for gun control.

Remember back after Newtown how the regime used the parents of those slaughtered as a backdrop props to tug at the heart strings of the American people. Remember them using former congress woman, Gabrielle Giffords and her husband doing television spots for their new group, Americans for Responsible Solutions. Give the regime and the Left time, they will pull out all stops to once again use every trick and propaganda it can as it attacks our God given Natural Rights to own and bear arms, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment. But will this public distraction for a more insidious plan for gun control by using our very own principles against us?

I am not one who jumps at every conspiracy theory or rumor that some one puts out there on the net, and though I trust this current regime about as much as I trust a cornered rattlesnake, actually I trust the rattlesnake more, I do attempt to find the reason behind some of their actions. Knowing the plans of the enemy, betters prepares the warrior.

Does Everyone remember BH0’s infamous statement while on the campaign trail in 2008.

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

Now he b*tches about the militarism of city police forces.

Add to this statement BH0’s known history on gun control, no wonder after his election in 2008, gun sales soared. Many buyers and sellers attribute the surge to worries that Obama and a Democrap-controlled Congress would move to restrict firearm ownership, despite the insistence of campaign aides that the president-elect supports gun rights and considers the issue a low priority. This comment by the campaign proved to be wrong in one way and right in another. Right in that gun control was a low priority, wrong in that BH0 supports gun rights or the Constitution for that matter.

Any “talking head” will tell you, the main reason why gun control was a low priority during his first term was because BH0’s intent on destroying our health system with Obamacare and destroying America. He also realized that any push for gun control would hinder his re-election chances. So his regime turned to another tactic and decided on another way to impose gun control and even though it would and did spawn many conspiracy theories, it may be working.

Now, I will FULLY ADMIT that I am not up on the various guns that are available, I’m a wheel man myself, except for the .45 1911. However, quick check of the net tells me that currently the most popular handgun in America is the Glock 17 which fires the 9MM Luger cartridge, with the 40 caliber handguns offered by Glock catching up. Coming a in close second are the 9MM and 40 caliber models from Sig Sauer . What do these popular hand guns have in common with various the federal agencies?

Now, if one were to stretch 10 USC § 2538 – Industrial mobilization: orders; priorities; possession of manufacturing plants; violations. And we all know that BH0 wouldn’t stretch any laws or even push his Constitutional authority to get what he wants. So, why wouldn’t the federal government make massive orders for large amounts of ammunition for various federal agencies such as the Social Security Administration, Department of Education, DHS and other federal agencies? After all, the manufactures will have to give priority to the federal government or face seizure per cited code.

As cited in many sources, hollow point ammunition can not be used by the military, BUT is popular among law enforcement and isn’t that what the regime is saying that it is being used for? Hollow point ammunition is also the favorite of a majority of gun owners, including myself.

Now think about this, is it not possible for the federal government to make massive orders to the manufacturers, thus “creating” a shortage and under a capitalist system don’t shortages lead to cost increases? Also, IF there is a shortage of this type of ammunition and price increase, wouldn’t local police have to turn to the federal government for ammunition, thus putting the police departments more in debt to the federal government?

Join me as I go one more step further into my conspiracy. Remember back in June, 2012, there was an attempt to pass legislation in some of the states where ammunition manufactures are located to “micro stamp” the ammunition, which would definitely increase the cost of manufacture.

Now picture this, using the current crisis the Left introduces legislation in D.C. that requires all manufacturers to “micro stamp” every round of ammunition and if by chance it passes and gets signed into law, many ammunition manufactures will either have to shut down to retool or maybe shut down permanently. This will also add to the supply shortage. In a capitalist system, when costs go up for a manufacturer, such as the increased cost of micro stamping, the cost to the consumer also increases. What do you think will happen?

I feel that with the current shortage, thanks to the massive purchases by the federal government; just ask you local gun shop about the availability of 9mm & 40 cal ammunition and other popular ammunition. And IF “micro stamping” were to pass, this to will add even more to the cost or the add to the shortage because manufacturers close, to the point that a number of gun owners would not be able to afford ammunition, thus without ammunition the gun becomes a handy club.

Thus we'll have Gun Control that does not violate the Constitution and the sad part, BH0 used our own capitalistic system against us, a system which he hates.

What do you think, let me know?

  1. I think it's quite plausible, Gunny. When I was "reporting" on the massive federal purchases of common rounds like 9mm, .40 cal, .45 ACP, and even .22 cal, I heard from numerous folks that it was just a run on ammo and that it would get back to normal, that we were just being our own worst enemy and hoarding it all. But it still isn't coming back yet, is it! The .22 cal's are still in demand. Never seen anything like it. And you mention the micro-stamping, which would require retooling. Excellent point. Now, factor in Operation Choke Point.

From an article at The Daily Caller:

“'Operation Choke Point is one of the most dangerous programs I have experienced in my 45 years of service as a bank regulator, bank attorney and consultant, and bank board member. Operating without legal authority and guided by a political agenda, unelected officials at the DOJ are discouraging banks from providing basic banking services…to lawful businesses simply because they don’t like them,' said William M. Isaac, former chairman of the FDIC."

  2. Thank you!

This oldie but goody was published a little over a year ago on another site and after all the BS on militarized police a number of people have brought up the massive buys of ammunition by federal government so, I dusted it off, updated it a figured it would be just as relevant and a reminder.

Also THANK YOU for reminding me about operation choke point, I had completely forgotten about it. I posted about that when it first hit the net, but can't find the original article and some notes I had on it.

The regime knows it can't get any type of gun control, so I feel that it will use any and all means they can, even IF it means wasting tax player's money knowing that most people don't think, willing to jump to a conspiracy theory and not stopping to think, not stopping to look at it from a different angle.

Again, THANK YOU and THANK YOU FOR THE CROSS POST.

  3. If the government is using it, it is by definition not capitalism and more likely crapitalism (fascism + capitalism). The state is an immoral and involuntary monopoly of force that funds itself through theft and violence. It erects artificial barriers to entry to markets through licensing and regulatory schemes that do nothing to protect consumers but only entrench and concentrate market power in the hands of the few fascistic firms in union with the violent state. This is why we have a few large corporations controlling entire markets instead of many small firms competing. The state is antithetical to fascism, everything it does it totalitarian socialism since everything it does relies on stolen money. The state is antithetical to market.

Capitialism is nothing more than two people or a person and a firm voluntarily agreeing to trade; either barter or money for goods and services. Nothing more. Capitalism does not need or require a state to regulate it to create good outcomes, capitalism is self regulating through market mechanisms of competition and voluntary choice. Where competition and capitalism exists, high quality goods and services are provided at lower prices. Where government exists, shitty goods and services are provided at high costs.

    1. One more point, everything we think we need a state for can be provided better, more efficiently and most importantly NON VIOLENTLY AND NO COERCIVELY by a free market of competing firms. We can have security without state police thugs, national defense without state military thugs, product safety, dispute resolution, etc. Everything people think we need a state for can be provided by the market.

One example: Detroit's Threat Management security force is a free market security force operating in the city of Detroit where the state has nearly collapsed completely. It has never killed a single person in all of it's years of operation and it only protects life and property. It does not go around enforcing the "law" of politicians, what they scribble on paper. These heros are not "law enforcers" for the political elite, they are protectors fro the people. People pay voluntarily for their services and it is so profitable that it protects the poor for free.

      End the state.

    2. Wayward,

      Thank you for comment

You're misunderstanding of the whole system amazes me.

First off, as long as the government or any other entity is willing to PAY a price for a product or a service and an entity is willing to ACCEPT that payment that is CAPITALISM. Now if the government comes it takes over control of means of production & distribution, that's SOCIALISM.

As far as the state being "immortal & involuntary monopoly of force" to begin with that is exactly what the anarchist socialist believed after the Revolutions of 1848, when the idea of Socialism split into three distinct philosophies http://screaminthewilderness.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-war-nobody-saw-coming-plan.html .

Back to the "State", due to human nature, it is a necessary evil, From the beginning of civilization and even in the animal kingdom, the individual members joined in a group as a means of self protection and survival. Check the meaning of state http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/state.

As far as the state, in our case, government setting up barriers, that is the sheeple of America fault, after all are they not the ones who elected and reelected the Critters who have set up those barriers. SO how can you blame the "state" when it is the individual members who chose to put the critters in.

When it comes to large v. small corporations, yes it tips more to the large corps, BUT those large corporations ARE responsible to make a profit in order to HIRE more people and make money for the shareholders of the corporation, WHICH might even be in YOUR retirement plan.

Now, as far as "totalitarian Socialism" that is Bolshevist socialism (Ibid) or what today we call communism, which differs from socialism because communism controls PRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION and most importantly CONSUMPTION, which if the American sheeple would look at is where America is very close to, the only difference is that we don't have a true dictator, the production and distribution is still somewhat free of complete government control. 5. Thank you, Sard,

The problem as I see it, is that unfortunately too many people don't FULLY understand what we, as a country have been fighting for over a century, not just since BoBo was elected. BUT people don't want to hear that!

They wold rather listen to "talking heads", movie stars, Radio & T.V. hosts then either check out the facts for themselves or reading the everyday Joe/Jane blow who has taken time to research a particular subject.

A prime example and something that will show how lazy people are is when you get in a discussion and the other person says, "Well __________ says...." EVEN though you can show references.

There are many on the right who are as bad as the sheeple on the left, that will blindly follow some populist opinion without thinking. That's why I do what I do.

    Again Thank you!
